Kumori walked slowly through the courtyard, arms up behind her head while in thought. She wasn't too concerned with people noticing her at the moment. Staying in the shadows all of the time was boring. Besides, she had more pressing matters to deal with. Keeping up her training was one thing, but the various tools of her trade were starting to show wear and teach, moreso than she could fix with just regular upkeep. They needed someone who actually knew how to make weapons.
So with a sigh she sat down under a tree. There were probably some blacksmiths or something running around this school, but she had to find them. There were a lot of ways to go about that, but who knows? Maybe some of her sister's luck would rub off of her and she would just bump in to someone. "I wonder where I could find someone who could make some weapons..."

Nana wiped sweat from her brows as she looked into the sky. It was a beautiful weather, even after her friend Chiaki died. She recalled teaching her how to swim the day before she committed suicide. But why would someone like the Ultimate Gamer end her life like that? Sure, she was distraught when her game machine fell into the water, but that was no reason to throw yourself off the roof like that, was it?
Shaking these thoughts out of her head, she was walking towards her forgery, where she tended to make stuff. As the Ultimate Blacksmith, she had the uncanny ability to forge anything she has ever seen.
But then she heard someone's voice. Looking around, she saw a girl under a tree, mumbling about weapons. The friendly blacksmith decided to approach the person.
"Excuse me? Did you just mention... weapons?", the girl shuddered a bit, as she wasn't a fan of violence. "Maybe I can help you."
Nana kinda gets the feeling that she has seen this girl before, but she doesn't know when or where.

Kumori blinked a few times as someone had overheard her and was apparently just the kind of person she was looking for. "Wow, I wonder if this is how my sister feels all of the time...?" She said under her breath before jumping up. "Hi there, I'm Kumori. You know a thing or two about weapons then? Do you think that you could repair some then?"
Thinking for a moment, she remembered that she wasn't suppose to let just anyone touch her weapons, since they were dangerous, but if someone else had a talent that meant they knew how to handle them then that should be fine. "There... quite a lot of them and I can only do so much with normal upkeep."

Nana nodded to Kumori's statement. "Yes, I know plenty about weapons. As it should be. I'm Nana Kajiya, and I'm the Ultimate Blacksmith! Very pleased to meet you."
With these words, Nana motioned for Kumori to follow her. "Why don't you come along? I've got my hammer right here...", she pointed to the hammer at her side. "...but the rest of my tools are in my forgery. If you follow me, I can help you."
The pink-haired blacksmith entered her domain after a short walk through the sun.
"Ah, here we are." Nana looked at Kumori. "But... I don't see any weapons on you."
Nana wondered if she fell to a ruse or something. How can she repair stuff that's not even there?

Kumori nodded and followed behind her, intentionally making a bit of noise as she walked so it wouldn't sound like no one was behind her. They got to the forge pretty quick but the question of where the weapons were came up. Well, they were hidden. "Oh, don't worry. I've got them on me."
Kumori walked over to a table and then began to pull out her various weapons. At first it was just a few shuriken, producing them from somewhere and stacking them on the table. Then she pulled a couple sheathed katana out and put them on the table. That was by no means the end of it as the next then that appeared was a weight attached to a chain with a sickle on the other end. Then a spear with a hooked blade and a naginata, both longer than could logically be concealed on her person but she still managed to do so somehow.
"That should be it, unless I missed something."

The pink-haired blacksmith looked at the exquisite weaponry Kumori pulled out.
"Huh.", she said. "All of that fit on your body? Ooh, that's impressive! Are you perchance an Ultimate Ninja or something? I wouldn't be surprised by now."
Dusting off her trusty apron, preparing her anvil, hammer and forge itself, Nana took a good look at all pieces of weaponry.
After a quick look-over with her eyes, Nana nodded. "Alrighty, having seen all of this, I can repair them for you, and forge spares as well!"
Nana began with the shuriken, heating them up and reforging them a bit, before cooling them down. The blacksmith then used her grinder to sharpen all of the edges before moving on.
As Nana then was on the verge of repairing the katanas, she turned to Kumori. "Please be careful, I don't want any sparks to hit you while I'm working. I may be an Ultimate, but I'm not perfect."
Kumori then, if she wanted to, could watch as Nana repaired everything the tan girl presented in record time. Nana didn't like to test weaponry, so then she turned to her new acquaintance.
"I'm done with everything! I've got a few test dummies for you to use your weapons on, since I'm not good at using weapons myself."

Kumori watched as the Blacksmith got to work. "Well, Shinobi was word they went with instead of Ninja, but it works." She took a few steps back to make sure she was clear of the sparks. "I've been around a forge before, just don't know how to do it myself. All of those weapons were made back where I was trained, but it would be difficult to go back there for repairs all of the time. I'm glad I found you."
She moved over to the completed weapons and took a look at them, feeling how much they weighed and re-concealing them. "Yeah, thanks for this. You did a good job. Now, you said you could make spares of them too? How does that work?"

Nana grinned at her new friend. She always liked it when people said that she was doing a good job.
"Haha. Yes, making spares is incredibly easy." Nana was proud that now she could show off her true talent as the Ultimate Blacksmith: Making objects from scratch by only having seen them once before.
The blacksmith girl then pulled out a metal block of medium size and placed it on her workplace.
"Watch this!", the pink-haired worker said while using her tools to form the metal block into a naginata. With the excess metal she had, she could also forge around 10 new shuriken for the Ultimate Shinobi.
"Phew!" Nana let out a sigh after she was done working on everything with her hammer. Using the grinder to sharpen the blades again, Nana hummed a friendly-sounding tune.
Once she was truly finished, she gave the weaponry to Kumori. "That spare naginata is sadly not a perfect replica of the one you presented me, but that's only because I didn't have a bigger block. I still hope it's satisfactory for you!"

Kumori's jaw dropped as she saw the quality and accuracy that Nana was able to obtain from having just seen her naginata earlier, standing there still when it was handed to her, looking down at it. After a few more moments she snapped back to normal. "This looks amazing. I mean I don't get a lot of use out of my naginata, since horse-based combat isn't as common these days, but it's still nice to know I can get full on replacements for weapons if I need them."
She gripped the pole of it tightly, as she had when testing the weight of the other weapon earlier, and felt the balance of the weapon. "Yeah. I can feel that it's a bit different, but it's still perfectly usable. I'm gonna go test this one." The Shinobi dashed out the back where the test dummies were and got to work, slashing at them with a grin on her face.

Nana was pleased with the hard work she did, and it astonished Kumori, so she was happy.
She then followed the Shinobi out and watched her go at all the test dummies Nana set up for weaponry, and from what she could tell, that naginata she forged not five minutes ago was one of her best works so far. That thing put a serious dent into the dummies!
"Ooooh!" Nana watched with amazement in her eyes, worrying that she would miss the best parts if she blinked. "That's impressive! You're impressive!", the blacksmith said.
"But despite all that, I'm actually more of a pacifist, you know? I don't like the idea of people hurting another. Even though I'm hailing from Novoselic..."
Speaking of her birth country reminded the pink-haired girl of something.
"And that's also the reason I wasn't familiar with your weaponry, Kumori. I'm mostly used to forging broadswords, zweihänder, shields and armor. Sometimes for decoration, other times for fighting. But to be clear, if it's made of a metal, I can forge it."
Nana then decided to slowly approach the topic of payment.
"Since you're a first time customer, I can give you a discount. And the spare stuff I forged for you is free! But I still would like to receive payment for my work, okay?"
Out of her trusty apron, Nana pulled out a calculator. Typing a few numbers on it, she came up with a result. "Normally this would cost 10,000 yen, but as I've said, you get a discount." She punched in a few more numbers.
"With the amount of stuff I worked on, and giving you the discount, the price goes down to 6,500 yen. If you can't pay now, I can put it on a tab for you and refuse further service until you pay me. Is that a fair deal?"

Kumori nodded and then concealed the spare naginata. That would definitely be temporary though. She needed to get that some place to lighten her burden. She then produced precisely enough money to pay what she owed from somewhere and handed it over to the blacksmith. "Hmm... Well, if you're a pacifist then I guess I won't talk about the things I typically do with my weapons, granted I'm not suppose to let too much slip."
"But I can respect your pacifism. I just sort of happened upon this way of life," Kumori crossed her arms. "To take a life is something that I have to decide to do for myself for the right reasons. That's how I was taught. That money I just paid for these weapons with is a bonus, not what I should use my skills for. Do you understand?"
