Back to school sales. Just because he was going to an academy for gifted students, didn't mean he would pass up the chance to not gouge his wallet on supplies.
Chihiro held his shopping bag tightly as he waded his way through the bustling mall, cutting through every less crowded store he could just to avoid getting trampled. It was explicitly the Programmers goal to go to one of the smaller malls within the city so he could avoid this sort of thing. Either everyone had the same idea, or there was no such thing as "small" within a reasonable distance.
Setting his bag down, he sat on a bench, taking a breath before re-tying his shoe. After making sure nobody could step on the laces, he looked inside the shopping bag he had been holding so closely. Taking inventory, he found that he had all essential school supplies. Pencils, calculators, notebooks, a phone strap.. The student really only had two more stops. He had to get some new clothes, and some equipment for his other work. Standing, the boy's eye caught the clothing store right across from where he was standing. The sign above the store proudly announced the name. 'SYNDROME'. It was a popular clothing store in Tokyo, it seemed. Though it wasn't really his 'style', he figured it far better to at least check at the store than to roam around what may as well be the center of Shibuya for another hour.
Making his way across, he found himself in a rather dense, and brightly lit store. The boy searched through the store, scanning every section of the store. From a lingerie section near the front, to a large poster that boasted low sales for lines designed by an Airi Mitsukuri, until finally, to his subtle joy, he found some more modest clothing near the back, that remained mostly vacant. Setting the bag down, he looked through the selections, simply wanting to find some casual wear for when he was out of class.

Adrianna was in one of the changing rooms, and she was checking herself out in one of those full-body mirrors. Wearing a sleeveless, red buttoned down shirt, the Flower Maiden tightened up a black tie to pair with her black shorts. Her eyes trailed over every inch of her reflection, soaking in the image of the beautiful girl in the mirror. She licked her lips and smiled, highly satisfied with this look, confident that it'll draw the eyes of those around her. Would she call herself a narcissist? Probably not, but that's only because she was someone who deserved to be admired.
After staring at the girl in the mirror for a little while more, she pulled off her tie and begun to unbutton her shirt. Trying on all sort of outfits and feeling good in each one was the best part of shopping, and she often walked away with multiple bags in tow, daydreaming about a butler carrying her clothes for her.
Pulling open the changing room's curtain, she bent down to pick up her basket full of clothes before walking out, unaware that a certain lacy undergarment was cheekily poking out. She made her way to the payment counter, but it seemed that this store wasn't done with her yet - another cute thing came into view, though it wasn't an piece of clothing this time. It was a girl, and quite an adorable one in fact. Smiling, Adrianna made her way towards her.
"Hello there. This might be a little presumptuous of me, but have we crossed paths before? I feel like I've seen you somewhere, though I do not think that we had spoke. I wouldn't have forgotten a conversation with such someone as cute as you are."
Delighted that she had managed to sneak in that compliment in the end, the Flower Maiden had no doubt that how the girl reacts would be a joy to watch. The reaction would probably be cute, and adorable things are almost always a wonderful pleasure. @ Chihiro Fujisaki

His bright eyes had scanned the dresses hung up in front of him over and over again. The boy was given quite a bit of spending money from his father especially for school shopping, but there was no telling how much cash he'd sink when he was done with whatever computer store he could find after this. It took a few minutes, but his eyes finally fell on an outfit that clicked with him. A long, light brown dress with a forest green sweater. It's price was fair enough, and it looked like it would fit. "Hmm.." He reached his free hand out to grab the hanger that the outfit was attached to, taking it off the rack. Putting his bag down, he ran his hand down the top, muttering to himself. "Well.. it's soft... doesn't look too small. Should be good enou-" The programmer practically jumped out of his skin when azure-haired girl made her sudden entrance. Gripping the outfit tightly in his surprise, he took a step back, his wide eyes locking with hers. "Someone as cute as you are." As she spoke those final words in her quick introduction, Chihiro felt his face flush. Though he tried to ignore that last part, though the rose colored blush on his face, and the fact that he averted his gaze almost immediately after she had said that was telling enough. It's not like he wasn't used to those kinds of compliments, he just never really learned how to accept them. After a moment of dead air, he noticed his knuckles had gotten white from gripping the outfit, so he set it down next to his bag, before lacing his hands together, trying to return eye contact to the maiden. "Ah.. I... I'm not sure, maybe we've seen each other before." The docile brunette had trouble forgetting faces sometimes, and though he couldn't really put a finger on it, this girl looked somewhat familiar to him. After another moment, a lightbulb went off in his head. "Ah, wait. D-Do you go to Hope's Peak Academy? I just enrolled there about a week ago. M-My names Chihiro Fujisaki." Awkwardly, he raised his hand a bit, in a shy wave. He must have passed her in the halls of the academy during the past few days. Knowing they both came from that school gave him some comfort, at least. "S-Sorry about.. not recognizing you, at first. It's nice to meet you."

She raised up a hand to cover her giggle, revealing to the brunette only her eyes, along with their predator-like stare. Adrianna knew how unsettling this may be, but she just couldn't help herself! Nervous people were just too much fun! When she saw Chihiro raise a hand to give a nervous wave, her mind immediately leaped towards a particularly rude fantasy - one that involved restrained wrists pushed up against a wall.
But Adrianna wanted to be friends with this girl, and so she decided to turn it down a notch. Pushing those thoughts out of her head, she smiled warmly to try and calm the girl down. When she heard the apology, she immediately waved her hand dismissively, but in a friendly manner, to try and show that no offense was ever taken. "I'm a part of Hope's Peak too," she responded. "They gave me the title of Flower Maiden, and I believe that yours was.. Programmer, was it?"
Her eyes trailed the green dress as it went from the girl's hands into the basket. "Are you shopping for new clothes too?" she asked, though the answer to that question was quite an obvious one. But conversation was conversation, and she needed to say something as she gently bent down to pick up the girl's green dress. "My my, what a pleasant looking piece. Have you tried this on, by any chance? There's some rooms right over there."
Adrianna dearly wished to spend a few hours picking clothes for Chihiro to try on, but it'll all have to depend on how she responds. If the girl wished to simply buy her clothes and leave.. well, she has no right to stop her from doing so. Sure, she would feel a tinge of disappointment, but the azure-haired girl was afraid of seeming too pushy. If they parted from this store as acquaintances, friends maybe, then perhaps she could look forward towards more meetings in the future. Lunch or dinner with someone as cute as she was.. yes, Adrianna could definitely look forward to that.
@ Chihiro Fujisaki I'm gonna be referring to Chihiro as she, I hope you don't mind ^0^

Though he hadn't quite calmed down completely after introducing himself, Adrianna gave him a warm enough smile that made his heart rate return to normal. The meek boy straightened his back further, keeping silent as she gave her little introduction as a Flower Maiden. Chihiro simply gave a small, silent nod when she guessed his talent. 'She must've read up on new students, and have a good memory on top of that. That stuff is public, after all.." He thought to himself for a moment, before the Flower Maiden continued.
When she asked if he was shopping for new clothes, his head perked up. "Ah, yeah.. well, no actually. Just general stuff for the school year... but that includes clothes, so.." He practically wanted to smack himself. Seriously, he was actually a pretty good talker most of the time. Maybe he hadn't completely come down from his startle yet.
As soon as she got closer, aiming for the bag it seemed, the programmer backed up just a couple of feet towards the wall, to make room for her. When she mentioned the changing rooms, he started to fidget with his jacket cuffs, a tinge of nervousness growing again.
"No, I haven't, actually." He paused for a second, looking in the direction of the changing rooms. "I-I don't really need to, though. I'm sure it'll fit, so, I figured maybe just skip that step.. I suppose." Chihiro, wasn't the biggest fan of changing rooms, which may have been obvious to Adrianna. Public places like that, including restrooms or especially locker rooms, have always been avoided unless necessary for him.

It looked like her suspicions were correct. Chihiro hadn't tried on that green dress yet, and the only question now is if she should tempt her to. But.. well, even just a step forward to pick up that dress caused the Programmer to shyly back off. She's awfully timid, though perhaps that would come to change once she's in a more developed relationship. With that in mind Adrianna laid the green dress gently back down, taking a step back to give the girl some space.
"As long as you're alright with that choice," Adrianna said, smiling. Looking towards some friendly-looking cashiers, she continued speaking. "I'm pretty sure SYNDROME's refund policy is customer friendly too."
Placing her basket down by her feet, Adrianna raised her arms up and stretched. "Hope's Peak, huh?" she muttered, gazing idly towards a father and daughter on a shopping trip. Adrianna thought back to her own father, a memory that brought out the briefest hint of a frown from her. The expressions that her parents had when she walked out of the door that day..
She forced herself to scoff. To smirk. She didn't need them. Not here, not now. Bringing her wistful gaze to a stop, the Flower Maiden feigned a yawn, covering it with her hand. Turning to look at the shy little girl, Adrianna asked "Do you have any plans after this, Chihiro?" @ Chihiro Fujisaki

Maybe, it had occurred to him time and time again, he needs to trust people more. Not like he thought Adrianna was going to just beat him up or something, but he had found himself acting far too timid around strangers at times. His secret, though giving him relief from some people's cruelty, did sometimes make him more nervous around others.
Yet, a smile finally formed on the brunette's face. It was small, but clearly visible. Adrianna seemed to try and give him a bit of breathing room, and her own warm smile that she was giving him helped him ease up his inner tension.
"Yeah, I'm just.. Not a big fan of changing rooms. But I'm pretty good at guessing, and most places have a good policy." Slowly, Chihiro moved closer to the Flower Maiden, picking up his bag and holding it with both hands. He felt himself tense up a little when he noticed her scowl. Did I.. do something to upset her just now?
His fears drifted away when her smile came back on. Whatever that grimace was meant for, it wasn't because of him. Kneeling down, he rummaged inside the bag, making sure everything was in proper order, and nothing had fallen out during his crowd dashes. His head raised, with his bangs falling over his eyes for just a moment before he swept them back, so he could look at Adriana when she asked him his plans.
"Oh, uh, nothing really interesting I suppose. I was hoping to go to one of the computer stores here, after this. You know, just to get some equipment, and all.." Lacing his fingers around the bag handles once more, he stood, his eyes nervously falling on the crowds again. At least they hadn't somehow gotten bigger.. Though that was probably impossible regardless.
Rubbing the back of his head, sheepishly, he looked down a little, not meeting her gaze. "Most people find that stuff boring, really. I pretty much only get to talk about it with my dad. Most other people just don't.. Really have the same passion that we do." After a moment, he chuckled, softly. "Sorry, I'm rambling a little."
Still, he smiled again.

Well, things seem to be progressing smoothly. The brunette was slowly but surely opening up, and Adrianna was highly pleased to see so. She was also satisfied. There's something rewarding when you manage to get on people's good sides, especially those that tend to be on the shy side of the spectrum. Bountiful insights were sure to be found locked inside meek hearts, and it excited her to able to potentially witness this first hand.
She listened patiently when Chihiro spoke on the topic of computers, and she sighed silently when he soon stopped. It wasn't a sigh of exasperation, but instead one more akin to.. perhaps when a mom sighs at the commonplace sight of her rowdy son's clothes. When you understand the other party so well that you knew they meant no ill will, instead just only going along to the whims and fancy of certain personality traits that makes them who they are. While this isn't to say that she knew Chihiro that well, Adrianna certainly had experience dealing with her types.
Raising an eyebrow, she said "Oh? Please don't apologize - to be able to hear tech talk from a person as renowned as the SHSL Programmer, it's most definitely an honour." Crossing her arms, she continued. "Despite the connotations to nature that my title brings, I'm not one to hate on machines. How could I, after they had helped me so much in my line of work." @ Chihiro Fujisaki

Slowly, he nodded. The faint smile on his face widening slightly. It was very rare that Chihiro would encounter someone who wouldn't just tune him out whenever he'd start talking about what's basically been the center of his life from when he was just eight. Shifting his weight, he spoke again, his voice sounding more even than before. "Thank you. And, I didn't mean to imply that you hate machines, or something like that. Just.. y-you know, when you get down to really technical talk, most people just kind of only half-listen." Getting on his toes for a second, to see past the clothing wracks within the brightly lit store, the programmer saw that the crowd finally thinned a little in this section of the mall. Still, he obviously didn't bolt for the nearest store to hold computer parts or such right that second. Instead, he waited in the back of the store, enjoying his conversation with Adrianna. "...Still, I really don't blame people for not finding a wall of code or the innards of a computer all that interesting. I just kind of grew up with it." He chuckled, recalling when he first started messing with his fathers computer. Sure, those days weren't easy, Chihiro had always been ill and was always to weak to participate in any form of physical activity with his neighbors. But, if it hadn't been for that, he might have not discovered his talent. "Uh.. but anyway. I think I have to get to that store before the crowds come back. Earlier, I almost got trampled on, trying to get past another store like this one." Slowly, he started to gather himself, walking towards the cashier, yet not taking his eyes off the flower maiden. He was curious if she'd actually want to tag along, or would just head her own way. Regardless, she had grown on the meek boy pretty easily, and he was excited to see where their friendship would go within the walls of Hope's Peak. Adrianna Kravenski
