Happiness Leads the Healthiness!
It wasn't a secret that Ren was a bit of a pushover, but he did it on purpose. It was because he wanted to make everyone happy and thus he would do things that people normally would never do: allowing people to punch him in the face, fall into a trap he knew was there, take the fall for something another did, things like that. While his permanent record suffered, he was pretty sure that the teachers knew he was like this. Not that it mattered. As long as he made more smiles than there would have been without him, he would be happy.
After all, when the visions of limbs thrown everywhere, and seeing one soldier before him crying out in pain, he had seen far more pain than he ever wanted to see. He wanted to heal everyone and do his best to make people happy. Even though he was the Royal Doctor of the Novoselic Kingdom, he would not let anyone go without trying to cure them, even if they ended up being enemies to the kingdom or someone who caused pain to another. While that last one was a risk he had to face, he believed that there was more happiness he brought than the pain someone else could bring. After all, he saved families in his country from losing a son, daughter, mother, father, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, cousin, nephew, niece.
And so, here he was, running a booth for a little bit of the festival while the 'surprise' date got to the festival. After all, those who ran booths didn't have to stay in them all night. His booth was one for relaxing. He had a little helmet that the students had helped create for him which would dampen all of the noise out and send waves that would help the wearer relax. Of course it wasn't tested yet, so the side effects weren't known as of right now. Of course, he also had a sign that told the purpose of this booth which said:
"Whatever will relieve your stress, make you happy, is my function. Punch me in the face if that is what you want. We have pillows in the back as well as various other relaxation and stress-relief methods. To learn more, ask Ren Umeki."
