KIKUYU SUENAMI SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL SEAMSTRESS
| The cloth lightly touched the floor as the clicking of the sewing machine filled the air. Aside from the hum of the machinery, the air was still. It was to be expected as Kikuyu Suenami herself wasn't making any noise and the walls of her dorm room were soundproof. Sometimes she had people in her room and she would make light conversation with them as she worked, but as Kikuyu saw it, it was fine with her whether someone was watching or not.
Often times, she was visited by her friend, Siyon Zakarra, but today, she had something to go do. What exactly, Kikuyu didn't know, but that was alright with her, after, if something was happening to Siyon, the Mafioso would have told her. Kikuyu felt like she could at least place that much trust in her friend.
At the moment, Kikuyu was sewing a simple shirt, her work nearing completion. It had been a commission from one of the students and the Seamstress was always more than happy to comply with what people wanted. She also often told them to not pay her a cent, but sometimes they denied and paid her even a little. It was alright with Kikuyu, because she figured that if people were willing to give her money for her talent, that meant that they really enjoyed her work and that made Kikuyu happy.
As the clicking of the machine filled the air, Kikuyu couldn't help but fill herself with a state of peace that allowed her to explore her own state of mind. The Seamstress let herself be drawn into her thoughts and simply let her mind go wild with the thoughts that appeared. With barely a care in the world, Kikuyu kept sewing until the shirt was mostly done. When it was finished, the ginger girl removed it from the machine and took a needle out of her pocket and began to sew in the finer details of the shirt.
The silence really hung heavy without the machines clicking but it didn't bother Kikuyu. In fact, she rather enjoyed the silence and it really made her eager to continue with her work. At least that's what she thought as she contiued to sew.
Sew, sew, sew. That's she had to make. It was her life now. Simple and happy.

I like to take my sweet time doing things.
After all, it's not like the world ends tomorrow, right? Well, this was... annoying, to say the least. The Procrastinator decided to buy new clothes, something more casual for the summer. A very simple white shirt with an orange bird printed on it.
But shortly after his purchase and when he tried to wear it, he noticed that it was tearing at the seams. Crap. Daniel didn't want that, and if Kaneko saw him wearing torn clothes, he would never hear the end of it.
So he decided he was being smart and he was looking for a seamstress. He could've sworn there was someone like that.
He changed into his everyday black uniform and made his way to the school, as he was bound to find someone who could fix clothes.
After all, this school picked up anyone who had talent, and fixing clothes should be a talent, indeed.
While he had random thoughts about God and the world, he finally stumbled upon a room he walked past many times before.
The nameplate said 'Kikuyu Suenami', and he heard from a reputable source (namely, Kaneko, she'd know about things like this.) that she was the Ultimate Seamstress.
Perfect. Exactly what he needed. He took together all his courage and knocked on the room to her door. Maybe he was lucky and she was there.

KIKUYU SUENAMI SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL SEAMSTRESS
| With the peace being so entrapping and Kikuyu being so quiet, you probably could've heard a pin drop. As Kikuyu's fingers glided across the fabric, guiding the needle through its path, she heard just that as one of the needles slipped off the table. Momentarily pausing, Kikuyu reached down and picked up the needle, but as she did, there was a knock on the door.
Someone's here? But why? Kikuyu wondered, adjusting the circlet on her head. It couldn't be Siyon, as she would've let Kikuyu know ahead of time whether she had been coming, and the commissioner had also stated that they didn't need to watch, as they had trusted Kikuyu enough to just let her work. So then... Who?
Cautiously, the Seamstress slipped the fallen needle back into her jacket and looked at her door. She opened it up, revealing a boy with somewhat untidy brown hair and glasses, wearing a black jacket. She'd seen this guy before, but what was his name again? Daniel. That was right. Daniel Saotome, the Super High School Level Procrastinator. Kikuyu couldn't fathom such a talent, after all, she was never one for procrastination. Instead, her time was usually well-spent and she would attempt to get all, if not more, of her work done in a timely manner. Yet, the boy stood before her holding what appeared to be clothing. It seemed like Kikuyu had a new project, didn't it?

After all, it's not like the world ends tomorrow, right? There she was, Kikuyu Suenami. It looked like she even recognized him, although that could have been just his imagination.
When she asked how she could help him, Daniel unfolded the new shirt he bought and pointed towards the torn seams.
"I just wanted to ask you if you'd be so kind as to fix this shirt, please. If you don't want to, or are busy at the moment, just say so and I'll leave you alone.", he said as polite as he could.
There was no question of her ability. She was an Ultimate, an Ultimate more Ultimate than Daniel was. He unwantedly let out a small huff that sounded like he was annoyed at something, but he didn't notice.
His laziness was his vice, why was this his talent? He could do some pretty sweet breakdancing moves, why didn't he get picked for that? Ultimate Breakdancer sounds much better than Ultimate Procrastinator, he figured.
Since he probably stared off into space as he was arguing with himself, he scratched his head and grinned sheepishly.
"Oops, sometimes I get lost in thought. It happens, doesn't it?"
Hey, maybe if he was lucky, he could get to see how Kikuyu worked? He wants to check out as many talents as he can during his time at Hope's Peak Academy.

KIKUYU SUENAMI SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL SEAMSTRESS
| Kikuyu eyed the shirt that Daniel brought out. It looked fairly new, though the stitching was fairly poor. The seams were coming out and some of the edges were slightly frayed. Just from looking at it, though, she could tell that the fabric was decent enough and the damage wasn't too bad. It would be a simple enough fix. In fact, in half the time it took Kikuyu to make an original design, she could probably redo the entire stitching and make a much sturdier shirt. Yes, if this much tearing had already happened, it would be wise to stengthen the rest of the stitching. And as Daniel spoke, she quickly nodded, "Of c-course. I'll d-do it for you i-if you want."
The Seamstress watched as Daniel seemed to get lost in his own thoughts. He even let out a little sigh, though Kikuyu pretended like she didn't hear. It was just her own perceptiveness from being a form of an artist. Small details were easy for her to notice and she made a mental note of them all.
"Oops, sometimes I get lost in thought. It happens, doesn't it?"
"It does s-s-sometimes. I d-do it all th-the time when I-I'm working a-alone." Kikuyu explained, "S-S-Speaking of wh-which... Do you w-want to w-watch me? I can d-do it right n-now and it w-wont take that l-long. I w-was just f-finishing up another project s-s-someone g-gave me, but I'm pretty m-much d-done with it, n-now."

After all, it's not like the world ends tomorrow, right? Hey, what do you know? It was like she could read his mind. Of course, he wouldn't say no to such an opportunity.
"It'd be an honor, Kikuyu-senpai.", the Procrastinator said.
Not taking his eyes off of Kikuyu's hands as she worked, he fumbled around in his pockets for his wallets, as good work shouldn't go unpaid.
"I was pretty fond of the design, you know? I think it'd be great if you made the shirt... I dunno, tougher? Like, so it doesn't tear as easily. I mean, you know what I mean."
Ah, there was his wallet. Sneaky little thing. He pulled it out in one smooth motion and glimpsed at the amount of money he had left in there.
"So, how much would this cost me?", he asked.
He was sure watching her work would be a treat to the eyes.

KIKUYU SUENAMI SUPER HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL SEAMSTRESS
| The Seamstress inspected the shirt in closer detail when Daniel handed it to her, "The f-fabric is fairly s-s-strong, s-s-so that shouldn't b-be a p-problem. What the i-issue is h-here is the s-s-stitching its-s-self." Yes, the seams had come out, and Kikuyu immediately set out to remove the remaining threads keeping the shirt together. "I'm gonna r-redo the s-s-stitching entirely. Th-That will p-prevent it f-from coming a-apart again."
The Seamstress immediately got set to working, stitching by hand, her fingers practically flying across the seams, "It w-will be d-done in about t-thirty m-minutes." As her fingers weaved in and out, the needle going up and down. She prided herself on her speed, accuracy, and quality and she was well aware of Daniel watching her.
"So, how much would this cost me?"
"C-Cost?" Kikuyu repeated in surprise. There it was, the question she got all the time. "I-It costs as m-much as y-you want. I'm h-happy to do it for f-free." She blushed a little at the end. It was a bad habit to blush whenever she got slightly flustered, she knew. Even so, there wasn't much she could do about it. It happened all the time. Even when she had to introduce herself... Oh! She forgot to do that! "By the w-way... I'm sure y-you know this b-by now, but I'm Kikuyu S-S-Suenami, the S-S-Super Highs-s-school Level S-S-Seams-s-stress." Sometimes it frustrated her that she couldn't say her title without stuttering so bad, but by now, she was used to it. There wasn't much she could do about it, so she just had to roll with it.

After all, it's not like the world ends tomorrow, right? "...For free? Are you serious?" Daniel couldn't believe that Kikuyu's offer was genuine. He couldn't accept that. No. He had to pay her.
"Here.", Daniel said after he pulled out some money that was equal to half the cost of the shirt itself. "Keep it, it's yours."
He listened to Kikuyu introduce herself in person before smiling and nodding at her.
"Yep, it's nice to formally meet you, Kikuyu-senpai!"
He bowed before her, since he figured it was polite to do so.
"And if you don't know who I am, that's not a biggie. I'm Daniel Saotome, SHSL Procrastinator. Strange talent, I know. I specialize in putting things off until the last possible moment, and then excelling at doing them."
He shrugged. Watching Kikuyu work was hypnotizing to him, however. But he had to make sure that he wasn't late so his friend Kaneko wouldn't be mad.
He pulled out his phone for a short moment so he could see what time it was. When he saw that he still had plenty of time, he put the phone away again.
